Consignment Policy


 

Overview

LeidiDonna Luxe Inc. accepts select high-end designer items for consignment. Before listing your items, we conduct a thorough review based on brand, style, material, hardware, condition, market trends, and demand among our clientele. You’re welcome to provide a counter-offer on any quote we present.

Fees

We do not charge a fixed commission. Instead:

  • You let us know how much you want to receive.

  • We add our fees and applicable taxes on top of your desired amount.

  • If pricing is feasible based on current market trends, we accept the item.

Minimum fee: $100 per item

Consignment Term

  • Standard term: 60 days, starting when the item is listed online.

  • Extensions available by mutual agreement (max: 4 months).

  • After 4 months: you must arrange pickup or return shipping.

  • Items unclaimed within 2 weeks after term ends may be donated.

Early Return

If you request your item back before the term ends, the following fees apply:

  • $150 service fee + authentication cost

  • Hermès handbags: $500 service fee + authentication cost


 Authenticity & Condition

  • All items must be 100% authentic.

  • If an item is found not authentic, you are responsible for:

    • Authentication cost

    • Return shipping

    • $300 service fee ($500 for Hermès)

Items will be disposed if fees are unpaid after 14 days.

Condition Discrepancies

  • Quotes are based on the condition you describe.

  • If the item arrives in worse condition than disclosed, we may adjust the price.

  • If an item was altered or repaired and not disclosed, you may be held liable for any associated buyer disputes, returns, or loss in value.


Sales & Payment

  • Items sold outright are paid to you immediately.

  • Items sold via Layaway are paid to you as the buyer pays.

If a layaway buyer defaults, we will relist the item.
All sales are final and cannot be reversed.

How We Pay You

  • E-transfer (Canada)

  • PayPal

  • Wise (for international clients)

Some methods may be subject to daily limits or processing delays.

Accepted Items

We currently accept only high-end designer goods, including:

  • Bags & accessories: Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, etc.

  • Jewelry: Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Bulgari, etc.

  • Shoes: Only select high-demand designer shoes

We do not accept items that are:

  • Heavily used or damaged

  • Soiled, smelly, or unhygienic

  • Extremely outdated or unsellable

  • Lacking transparency or clear ownership

We reserve the right to refuse any item at our discretion.

Client Requirements

To consign with us, you must provide:

  • Full name

  • Full mailing address

  • Email and phone number

By submitting items, you confirm your acceptance of our terms.
After we receive and inspect your item(s), we’ll email a Consignment Agreement for you to sign and return.

Shipping & Handling

  • All shipping costs (to/from us) are your responsibility, including taxes and duties.

  • Drop-off/pickup available in Guelph or another mutually agreed location.

  • Your items are stored securely in a temperature- and light-controlled environment.

Items may be handled for:

  • Inspection

  • Authentication

  • Photography & video

  • Client viewings


Advertising & Promotion

  • We post new arrivals weekly on our platforms.

  • Items are processed and promoted in order of receipt and post-authentication.

  • Promotion includes:

    • Instagram

    • Facebook

    • TikTok

    • Pinterest

    • Partner resellers

All quotes, payments, and listings are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
This applies to all clients, including international sellers and buyers.
